What MCP does here
Model Context Protocol is a standard for connecting AI applications to external tools and data. Ad8’s proposed MCP service exposes research functions to an authorized, compatible client. It is an Ad8 connection—not an official Meta connection.

A focused research toolset
Search available records. Read selected ad details. Inspect followed Pages and coverage. Retrieve competitor changes and existing reports. Report generation, if exposed, uses the same report allowance as the web workspace.
Connected to your workspace—not unlimited data export
Permissions and plan limits still apply. Search may cover the available library; tracking timelines and workspace reports are limited to your authorized workspace. Pagination, result size, and monthly research-call allowances protect the service from bulk extraction.
Client compatibility is specific
A client must support the transport and authorization method implemented by Ad8. Client plan requirements, administrator settings, and regional availability can differ. Named client integrations should be marked supported only after end-to-end testing.
Your AI provider remains separate
Your AI application may charge for its own subscription or usage. Connecting Ad8 can send retrieved content and your questions to that provider. Review its data controls before sharing confidential brand information.
Connection guide
Create your Ad8 workspace, open the MCP connection settings, copy the endpoint actually shown there, complete the supported authorization flow, and run a small test query. Do not paste credentials into the chat. The connection guide contains the proposed setup flow and troubleshooting copy.
