FAQ

The details
before you decide.

Clear answers about what you are researching, what you are paying for, and what the evidence cannot tell you.

What is Ad8?

Ad8 is a proposed subscription workspace for researching collected Meta ads, following competitor Pages, and creating source-linked creative reports. The launch focus is primarily static ads.

What does the 10-million figure mean?

It refers to collected ad records—not ten million unique ideas, active ads, downloadable images, or currently accessible media files. Multiple records can be variations of the same creative concept.

Can I research brands I do not follow?

The proposed plan allows library search across available records. Ongoing checks and tracked-change views are tied to your selected Pages. An existing library record does not guarantee a fresh or complete history.

What uses a competitor slot?

One distinct Meta advertiser Page. Separate regional Pages count separately. Supported country checks on the same Page do not require more Page slots, within your market allowance.

How often are competitors updated?

Checks follow an activity-based schedule and depend on collection capacity. Review the latest-check timestamp and coverage status. Real-time monitoring, universal daily updates, and complete historical backfill are not promised.

Are videos included?

Some records may include video metadata, thumbnails, or playable links where available. The collection is primarily static. Full video coverage, permanent video storage, transcripts, and frame-by-frame analysis are not included promises.

Can Ad8 identify winning ads?

Not from public creative observations alone. Ad8 does not provide competitors’ private ROAS, spend, conversions, or profitability. Reports discuss observed patterns and hypotheses, not verified winners.

What is included at $49?

The proposed Core plan includes 20 competitor Pages, one primary own-brand Page, one user and workspace, up to five supported markets per Page, 500 MCP research calls, four on-demand reports, and a weekly digest. New allowances beyond the founder’s $49/20-competitor brief remain recommended defaults.

Do I need an external AI subscription?

Not for the proposed web research workflow or Ad8’s included automated reports. A separate AI client may have its own subscription or model charges when you use MCP.

Does it connect directly to my Meta Ads account?

The launch research flow does not require private account access. Ad8 MCP is a connection to Ad8, not an official Meta account connector or access to a competitor’s private advertising account.

Can I download or republish everything?

No. The subscription is a research service, not bulk data licensing or a commercial license for third-party creative assets. Any future export function must have its own explicit limits and rights review.

What happens when I reach a limit?

In the proposed plan, new MCP research pauses at its allowance and new deep-dive reports pause at theirs. No automatic overage is charged. Existing reports and normal web access remain available during an active subscription.

Can my entire team use one account?

Core is proposed as a single-user plan. Team seats, client portals, shared credentials, and white labeling are not included.

Can I cancel?

The proposed monthly subscription can be canceled before the next renewal. Access continues to the end of the paid period. See Billing for the draft policy and applicable-rights reservation.

Is there a free trial?

No trial has been approved for this draft. You can review the illustrative sample report without subscribing. Early-access registration in this prototype is not a live submission.

Is Ad8 officially associated with Meta?

No. Ad8 is intended as an independent research service. Third-party trademarks and creative rights remain with their owners.
